Submersible Design
The DG-I is designed for submerged operation, making it ideal for applications where the pump needs to be located within the fluid being pumped. This eliminates the need for complex suction piping and reduces installation costs.
Integrated Knife System
The DG-I’s integrated knife system at the pump inlet effectively chops solids, preventing clogging and ensuring smooth operation even with challenging media like thick sludge and fibrous materials.
Versatile Applications
Ideal for sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, biogas plants, food processing, and handling abrasive or high-viscosity liquids.
Durable Construction
Manufactured with robust materials like cast iron (EN-GJL-250) for the motor and pump housing, and hardened steel for the knife system. Optional materials like stainless steel (AISI316) are available for enhanced corrosion resistance in submerged environments.
Reliable Sealing
Features a silicon carbide/silicon carbide mechanical shaft seal for long-lasting performance and protection against leaks.
Easy Maintenance
Designed for simple maintenance with a recommended service interval of 2,000 operating hours or at least once a year. Despite its submersible design, the DG-I is engineered for easy access and serviceability.
