Boosting Biogas Production

GasMix Components
Landia Chopper Pump MPTK-GI
The Landia MPTK-GI chopper pump is a core component of the Landia GasMix system, engineered to optimise biogas production. This robust pump efficiently handles thick sludge, preventing clogging with its integrated knife system that continuously chops organic material. This enhances the digestion process and maximises biogas yield.
Automated Valves
A set of automated valves allow to insulate the dry installed Landia chopper pump from the fluid contained into the tank for easy and safe maintenance.
Nozzles
GasMix has 2 mixing nozzles, one at the lower end, one at the upper end. These 2 mixing nozzles have as a role to help circulate the fluid. The lower nozzle avoids solid settlement in the bottom of the tank, while the upper nozzles avoid the formation of a crust on the surface.
The GasMix nozzle‘s unique design ensures efficient digester mixing. By drawing biogas from the headspace and injecting it back under pressure, it creates 3D mixing patterns that maximise biogas production and prevent stratification. This innovative design optimises digester performance and enhances biogas yield.
