The Düchting MC pump is engineered for superior performance and longevity in challenging applications involving abrasive and corrosive liquids.
Its key feature is the extensive use of SICcast, a proprietary ceramic material, for all wetted components.
This ensures exceptional resistance to wear and corrosion, significantly extending the pump’s service life compared to conventional materials.
Optimized Hydraulic Design
The MC pump features a closed impeller with three-dimensionally curved vanes, driven by a key, allowing for reverse rotation if needed (e.g., for back-flushing). A unique feature of this pump is the re-adjustable inclined gap between the impeller and volute casing.
This allows for optimisation of efficiency and differential pressure, even after extended operation, ensuring sustained performance over time.
Robust Construction and Easy Maintenance
The MC pump incorporates a single-acting, metal-free DÜTEC mechanical seal with springs located outside the liquid, minimising seal wear and maintenance.
Alternative seal types are also available to suit specific application needs.
Oil-lubricated anti-friction bearings and a back pull-out design further enhance reliability and simplify maintenance.
The back pull-out design allows for easy removal of the complete rotating assembly without disturbing the pump casing, minimising downtime.
Compliance
ATEX approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres upon request.
