Düchting MCV Pump
Vertical Powerhouse for Demanding Environments
The Düchting MCV pump is a single-stage, vertical centrifugal pump engineered for exceptional performance and durability in challenging applications involving abrasive and corrosive liquids.
This sleeve-bearing pump is particularly well-suited as an intake pump in desalination plants, offering reliable operation across a wide flow range.
SICcast® Construction for Maximum Durability
To combat the harsh effects of abrasive and corrosive media, the MCV pump utilizes SICcast ® for its inlet housing and diffuser.
This proprietary ceramic material, developed by Düchting, provides unparalleled resistance to wear and tear, ensuring a long service life and minimal maintenance requirements.
Optimised Design for Efficiency and Reliability
The MCV pump features a vertical suction flange and a radial discharge flange, making it ideal for integration into various piping systems. Its shaft is sealed by a single-acting mechanical seal, preventing leaks and ensuring reliable operation. Polygon sleeve bearings support the long shaft and effectively dampen vibrations, while radial bearings made of SiC on SiC further enhance durability and performance.
Modular Design for Cost-Effectiveness
The MCV pump’s modular design allows for the production of extremely large pumps at low cost, making it a highly efficient and economical solution for high-volume applications. Furthermore, the easily disassembled wear plate simplifies maintenance and reduces downtime.
Corrosion-Resistant Materials
All wetted parts of the MCV pump, except for the shaft, are made of metal-free materials to completely eliminate corrosion. Different shaft materials are available to suit specific application requirements. All hydraulic parts and the discharge bend are manufactured in SICcast®, and DÜCHTING offers an anti-corrosion lifetime guarantee for all SICcast® parts in seawater applications.
