The Düchting WRX pump is a robust, single-stage centrifugal pump engineered to conquer the most demanding applications involving highly abrasive and corrosive media.
This workhorse pump is specifically designed to handle liquids laden with fine to very coarse solids, including grain sizes up to 200 mm, making it ideal for industries like mining, dredging, and ash handling.
Built for Extreme Wear Resistance
The WRX pump’s design prioritizes durability and wear resistance. It accommodates the use of extremely hard materials with a minimum Brinell hardness of 550, ensuring exceptional longevity even when handling the most abrasive slurries. Wear plates on both the suction and bearing side further enhance protection against wear and tear.
Optimised Hydraulic Performance
The WRX pump features an axially adjustable impeller, allowing for precise control of hydraulic performance. Various impeller shapes are available, including 2- or 3-vaned options, to optimize efficiency and performance based on the specific application.
The pump’s suction is axial, while the discharge is tangential, facilitating efficient flow management.
Versatile Configurations and Robust Design
Düchting offers the WRX pump in various configurations, including vertical arrangements, to suit diverse operational needs. Shaft sealing can be achieved through a stuffing box or mechanical seal, providing flexibility in meeting specific application requirements.
The pump’s back pull-out design allows for the complete rotating assembly to be removed without disturbing the casing, simplifying maintenance and minimizing downtime.
Durable, oil or grease-lubricated bearings ensure smooth operation and extended service life.
The pump can be driven directly or via a belt, and special assemblies enable its use as an underwater pump. Counterclockwise rotation designs are also available to meet specific operational needs.
